SNS (Scripts 'N Screwz) are East St. Louis natives who have known each other for 11 years. For nine of these years they have worked together, producing and recording music for other artists in the genres of folk, R&B and rock. The past 4 years SNS have merged together to form the hip hop duo Scritps n Screwz.Screwz is the resident artist/producer for the group whose experimental beats and lyrics have a cinematic story telling quality while Scripts, the wordsmith, adds an element of vivid emotion and thought provoking wordplay.Scripts n Screwz are focused on changing the sound of hip hop from the repetitive drop it low gangster music saturating the air ways to a new genre of original, attention grabbing, innovative story telling, known as New Noise. The duo debuted _ #37 on the CMJ charts, peaked in the Top 20 Hip Hop charts and stayed for several weeks. SNS also had music featured on MTVs Teen Mom and A&Es The Cleaner.
